Early access, also known as early funding, alpha founding, alpha access, or paid alpha, is a funding model in the video game industry. Gamers can purchase and play a game in the various pre-release development cycles, such as pre-alpha, alpha, and/or beta. At the same time, the developer can use those funds to continue the further development of the game.
When Steam launcher took off, we briefly enjoyed launching almost every PC game from one place. Then every company seemed to introduce their launcher. So now, there are many game launchers to keep track of games you own. If you own a collection of PC game, it’s tough to remember which game you installed on which launcher.
