‘K.G.F: Chapter 2’ has smashed all the records at the box office and is well on course to create history. In this very pursuit, the film has set a new record in advance booking (on a premiere ticket-booking site) and has broken the records previously set by the S.S. Rajamouli’s film ‘Baahubali 2’. ‘K.G.F: Chapter 2’ has also removed the Hollywood blockbuster ‘Avengers: Endgame’ – Prashanth Neel’s epic film began owning records ever since advance bookings opened online, and has now taken the top spot by selling 2.9M tickets (in advance).
‘K.G.F: Chapter 2’ opened in cinema halls on April 14th across 10,000 screens in India with over 50,000 shows on the first day. The film will reportedly dethrone ‘Baahubali – The Conclusion’ with respect to the collections on Day #1 of the Hindi version and has even inched close to bonafide Hindi films like ‘War’ and ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ in the same regard.
K.G.F. Review.
Prashanth Neel has done it again. An all-time Industry hit by Yash, Neel, and the team. It is a known fact that this movie’s prequel KGF chapter 1 has become the talk of the town from the moment it was released.
This film starts with an unexpected twist which makes Rockey the ruler of KGF. There is no shortage of action and hero elevation scenes in this movie. The first half is packed with a story, the second half was a little bit predictive, it is filled with immense action scenes.
I got to see the movie in a theater that is equipped with Dolby Atmos 7.1. Yes, the sound was awesome. I felt it quite challenging to focus on the movie with that sound system.
The main difference between KGF and Bahubali or RRR is. Bahubali and RRR are visual treats on their peaks, with good music. But problem with that is once you have witness them, you are done watching it. I mean an illusion can only surprise you once, once you have seen it, you cannot get surprised again by watching it again. But music is like a slow poison. It wont get to you at first. But slowly it occupies your mind and makes you love it, That’s what KGF uses in both parts.
Actors Performances.
First, we need to talk about our Rocking Star, Yash. He has given his best acting performance for this film. I can’t think of any other cast suited for this role. Followed by Sanjay Dutt. This is an awesome comeback by Sanjay Dutt. His entrance is something that will always stay in my mind. Be the elevations due to script or visualization by the whole team. Something about Sanjay Dutt caught my eye while watching the film.
How can we not talk about the mesmerizing performance of Raveena Tandon as Ramika Sen? She has given an iconic role, the most powerful character in the film. And she portrayed it with ease. Her expressions, and the way she carries herself talk about how much effort she put in for this role.
Actress Shreenidhi Shetty has rejected seven films for her role in KGF Chapter 2. And needless to say, she has given proper justice to her decision. Her acting was remarkable in this film.

Crew’s teamwork.
Anything and everything we see on the screen is a result of a very large team comprising of technicians, actors, directors, and producers. In this film, we can give a standing ovation to the editing team. Their work can be seen in every scene of this film.
The music team also has given their best for this film. We all know how to hit the song “Sultan” is. The background music was really good. Perfectly matched the tone of the scenes.
The heart and soul of the film is the camera work done by Bhuvan Gowda. His camera work is outstanding. His work on KGF Chapter 1 is one of the things that made me stick to chapter 2.
Positives and Negatives
The positives of the movie are no doubt, the actors, Background music, editing, screenplay, and so on. The negatives are very less which we can count on the fingers of a single hand. For example, two main scenes or twists in the movie were predictable. (I am not going to discuss what they were for obvious reasons, SPOILERS. You can check them out in our next article with spoilers.)
